The Corner on Madison
We have a General Contractor onboard and have spent significant time meeting with city officials to ensure a (hopefully) smooth permit process. We are submitting our permit package by the end of this week, which includes a demo permit that allows us to start construction once processed (avg. timeline is 1-2 weeks). From the time we get the demo permit, it's looking like a 12-15 week project, putting us with an open sometime this summer. We know this is later than anticipated and appreciate the neighborhood's patience!
Effin's Bottle Shop
The store has been cleared out and a new floor is going in this week along with patching all the walls. Remaining work includes a new electrical panel, wiring and fixtures, paint, new storefront windows (sans bars!), and getting shelving in. Our liquor license is processing and we expect to have it in hand by the middle of March. Based on dependencies with the electrician, we are targeting the end of March/start of April for opening! In the meantime, we would love to know what the neighborhood likes to drink (see QR code)
